Meet the Principal
Dr. Lamont K. Trotter came to Lugo-McGinness Academy in 2023 after serving since 2018 as the principal of Richmond Alternative School. He previously served as principal and assistant principal in middle and high schools in Virginia, Washington, DC, and North Carolina, as well as teaching special education and history. He holds a BA in Special Education and an MA in Educational Leadership and Supervision from Virginia State University.
